The name
Clop is the Romanian word for a traditional straw hat with a high crown and raised conical brim, worn as an adornment on days of celebration.
We thought "Clipboard Optimizer" sounded a bit too technical and didn't roll off the tongue. We're Romanian ourselves, so we kept a little piece of our traditions alive in the name.
